Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Maintenance
Ensure that the dishwasher is correctly installed and maintained. Regularly check and clean the filters to prevent blockages and ensure efficient operation. The appliance must not be used without filters.
Correct Usage
Always shut off the water supply at the tap when the dishwasher is not in use for extended periods, such as during holidays. This prevents potential leaks and water damage.
Safety Precautions
Never sit or stand on the open door as the appliance may tip over. In case of a fault, first close the tap, then switch off the appliance and unplug it from the mains.
Anti-Flood System
The dishwasher is equipped with an anti-flood system that provides protection against leaks. Ensure the appliance remains connected to the mains for this system to function correctly, even when switched off.
Electrical Safety
Ensure the appliance is earthed. If the mains lead is damaged, it must be replaced by a service engineer authorized by AEG to prevent hazards.
